About the game
O ano é 1912. Com os Estados Unidos emergindo como uma potência mundial, a Cidade de Columbia é um forte símbolo dos ideais americanos, lançado dentre muitos aplausos de um público empolgado. Mas o que começa como um empreendimento de esperança em pouco tempo se torna num desastre, enquanto a cidade desaparece nas nuvens e seu paradeiro é desconhecido.
Uma das maiores realizações da história americana, desapareceu sem deixar vestígios. O jogador assume o papel do agente oficial de Pinkerton, Booker DeWitt, enviado à Columbia para resgatar Elizabeth, uma jovem mulher aprisionada lá desde a infância. Ele desenvolverá uma relação com Elizabeth, aumentando suas habilidades junto aos dela para que o casal possa escapar de uma cidade que caiu literalmente dos céus. DeWitt irá aprender a lutar contra inimigos em batalhas de alta velocidade pelos céus, envolver em combate tanto dentro como entre as nuvens, e aproveitar o poder de dezenas de novas armas e habilidades.
